For After School Program Leaders and Community Youth Leaders our Power Up for Peace Clubs, highlight our anti-bullying campaign.  The Clubs offer an emotional intelligence, hands-on curriculum to empower young people with tools for conflict resolution, to teach stress management techniques, to experience self-expression through the creative arts, and to learn emotional mastery.

Floortime & More....  Parents Make the Best Play Partners!

Lisa Burton, MPH, OTR/L engages parents in this hands-on, introductory workshop describing how the DIR/Floortime Model of Play techniques facilitates sensory and emotional regulation.  Learn how "playing" at just the right developmental level will help your child learn to attend, remain calm, relate to others and initiate and respond to all types of communication.  This intervention model is best suited for children with a developmental age up to 8 years. 

Parents will also be provided with an overview of The 7 Power Concepts, which are tools and strategies to help you re-charge as you guide your child towards recovery.
